Soo, if you want to win a FREE couples photoshoot, here's what you need to do!..

Then all you need to do is comment on this post and tell me why you and your significant other deserve to win a free photoshoot! I am not going to be choosing from your stories..I will be giving each person a random number and using an automatic number generator to decide the winner.
You have 10 days to enter, so no more entries after next Monday the 1st! I will be announcing the winner the following Tuesday.
Also, please remember to include your first and last name so I know who you are and will be able to contact you if you are the winner! :)

(The winner will receive a FREE couples 1 hour session, along with 20 edited images on a disk along with copyrights. The photo session must be scheduled for sometime in April, and must be in the Salt Lake City region.)

My boyfriend Brad and I have been together for almost five years. We've been through so much together and we still have more love for each other than there are stars in the universe. I couldn't imagine spending my life with anyone else besides him. The sad part is, in the five years we've been together I think I have MAYBE 10 pictures of us together. We usually go out and do things as a couple so there is no one to ever take photos of us so the only way to capture those moments are by holding out a camera phone...and we all know how THOSE turn out, so they usually just end up being deleted.

My husband and I have gone through a year of hell that 98% of couples wouldn't make it through. We had huge mountains to climb, and huge lessons to learn. We managed to stay together through it all and have come out more in love, and more grateful for one another. We've defied the odds and healed as a couple and a family.

So my fiance Ryan and I have been extremely busy in our lives where we don't get a lot of time with each other, due to school, work and other obligations that we have. We absolutely love each other! My husband and I have been married just coming on Six years. And six years and 2 kids, (almost 3....one is on the way) later, I can totally say that I love my husband more today than I ever have before. It's been the tragedies, challenges, successes, mishaps, and joys that has made it all worth it. My husband and I have been married for a year now. And I see all my friends with their beautiful engagement and bridal photos hanging above their beds and on their walls and I wish we had that. My good friend took ours and they didn't exactly turn out as well as I wished, and here we are with empty walls. Like some of the other contestants, we have been to hell and back. But are still going strong. Geez seems every relationship has been through hell and back...thats what makes them worth it. My boy and I have been together for 3 years. He is a sweetheart. He hooked up with me when i was 7mon. pregnant. ( not my best look) but he saw through that and neither of us have had much luck with photos. We just dont take good pictures Im sure someone who knows what they are doing could capture anyone of these lucky couples love. Its hard to capture that thing that draws us and holds us to them. Ive seen a few of your pictures and I have faith that you could make magic shine through. So as much as I want to say pick us for all the downs we managed to climb out of and somehow things continue to slowly get better. We havent been able to capture one picture that remotely looks like it feels.maybe we are destined for bad pictures..ugh.. Trent and I have been together for nearly 5 years, which when I think about, seems much longer than it's felt. We go through all of the same highs and lows as any relationship, and we've fought and threatened to leave more times than I can count, but in the end, we've always pulled through. The secret that I've discovered is that sometimes you really must put your feelings aside and put yourself in your lovers' place to come to a mutual understanding. We're not perfect, but we love each other more than anything. Marriage is something I am so looking forward to. If you think about it Jadie Jo took some of the first pictures of us together up at a youth conference in Idaho where we snuck out to pull pranks on the sleeping people. We would love to have Jadie take our pictures again now 7 years later!(minus the thumbs up signs next to sleeping McKay and Todd)

Jadie, your photography is so beautiful and I would love to have the opportunity to capture such a wonderful thing with my sweet John. We've been married 8 years this month, and through the loss of our baby girl in the beginning of our marriage and other trials along the way we have only grown stronger and closer together. He is my best friend and such an amazing father and husband- kind, selfless, patient and full of love. Recently we moved into a project house and he spends all day working his day job, then comes home and works more on the house. He takes care of me in my moments with depression and still somehow has time to play with the kids, provide for our family, and turn this fixer-upper into a home, and even do some dishes at night. I am entering for my really good friends daughter, you did her sons wedding pictures and they were great but my friends daughter and husband have four kids and just bought a new house, this couple are just great examples to not only their kids but to the community. I wish my parents would have been as awesome as these two people. I think it would be great for them to be able to get some pictures of themselves with no cost since now they are trying to own a home!:)

ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend and I have been together for the hardest two years of my life. In that time my parents separated and divorced, we both started new jobs, and I sustained nerve damage to my right leg. Although I have felt the weight of a difficult time on my shoulders my boyfriend has been my rock. I adore him and his ability to take on so much pain to lessen my load and his willingness to face these challenges together. As things are settling down now I would love a chance to capture on film the adoration and love I have for him on film.

Audrey from Park Street and I have not only been together for nearly 5 years, but have lived together for 4 years. We've been through a lot of changes and a lot of emotions, both good and bad. But we've come so far and it's all paid off-- we've become so emotionally mature and emotionally aware of one another after spending so long. If one of us is having a bad day or is feeling down, the other is there to pick them up. I think we've both redefined what makes a good relationship while being together and I can't wait to redefine what marriage means to us once we finally get hitched.

I married my high school sweetheart, which is still crazy to me. I feel like neither of us is the same person we were when we met in the 10th grade but we have grown together.
